Episode 80: Transformed at Last

Summary: Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin are sitting together after they "beat" Freiza. They laugh and make jokes for a while, but then Krillin notices something. Freiza is still alive!!! Oh yes, Freiza is back and with avengence. He aims an energy beam at Goku, but Piccolo jumps infront of it nearly killing Piccolo. Freiza's next target is Krillin. Krillin is throw in the air by a small ball of light. Krillin screams for help as he explodes. "Oh no, Krillin!" Goku screams. This was the last straw for Goku. In a burst of anger, Goku is transformed into the legendary Super Saiyan. Freiza is fearful that this may be the legend. Super Saiyan Goku urges Gohan to get as far away from here as possible and take the injured Piccolo with him. With reluctance, Gohan leaves. Goku is now able to show Freiza what a real Super Saiyan is capable of!

Review: My favorite episode. Yes, Krillin dies, but it's because of Krillin that Goku reaches the state of Super Saiyan. This is probably one of the most, if not THE most, important episode in the series. The birth of the Super Saiyans. In short, I'm loving it!
